Rivendell Community Inc. was founded in 2007 to provide services for adults with disabilities in the Central Valley. Rivendell is a strict vendor for the Central Valley Region Center.
At Rivendell Community Inc., we offer two distinct programs designed to support and empower adults with disabilities. Our Adult Day Program provides a safe, engaging daytime environment where individuals can learn, connect, and grow. Services are tailored to each person’s level of care, ensuring they receive the support they need while building skills that promote confidence and independence. We offer classes depending on their skill levels like anger management, money management, learning the alphabet, and basic hygiene tasks. If our clients require total care, then we also assist with feedings and brief changings.
We encourage every participant to explore group activities, develop new abilities, and take part in meaningful daily experiences. Our on‑site Activity Coordinator plans enriching community outings—like our annual trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium—as well as a variety of monthly activities that bring joy, connection, and hands‑on learning to our program.
Our Independent Living Program is the second core service we offer at Rivendell. Each individual we support has a personalized IPP, and our team tailors services to match their unique goals, strengths, and needs.
We work alongside clients in the community to build practical, everyday skills that promote confidence and independence. Support may include attending medical appointments, learning money‑management skills, navigating community resources, and developing routines that help each person live as independently as possible.
